 Artist Statement
My love for being active in nature has shaped a deep connection to colorful landscapes, which I translate into my art. Through a balance of imagination and observation, I paint landscapes and florals in bright, saturated hues that capture the energy and vibrancy I feel outdoors. Color is central to my process—it heightens emotion, creates atmosphere, and allows me to transform fleeting impressions into lasting experiences.

Light is equally essential in my work. I am fascinated by the way it shifts across time and place—how morning light can soften an urban skyline, or how evening light can bathe the countryside in warmth. In many of my paintings, light interacts with bold color and brushwork to suggest movement, depth, and mood.

Ultimately, my goal is to encourage viewers to pause and see beauty in the world around them—whether it’s the lushness of nature or the simple glow of light illuminating the sky.
